Framed 16×20 print

The Withlacoochee River in Florida is well-known for its scenic beauty and reflective landscapes, especially during periods of low, calm water. Its slow-moving, dark water acts like a mirror, producing stunning reflections of the surrounding lush scenery.

White pelicans travel to Florida during winter to find food in warmer, open waters and escape freezing temperatures in their northern breeding grounds.

Though they do not have strong beaks for crushing seeds, toucans play an essential role in forest regeneration. They will eat a fruit and later regurgitate or pass the seed in their droppings far from the parent tree, effectively "planting" it in a new location.

Flower buds covered in early morning dew create dramatic effects through a combination of light, color, and texture. The scene is ephemeral, with the jewel-like water droplets magnifying the bud's features before evaporating in the rising sun.
