Donna Morrison is an award-winning watercolorist known for her representational work that highlights Florida’s landscapes, wildlife, and conservation.
Recognized by Watercolor Artist Magazine as a “Top 10 Watercolor Artist to Watch,” she holds signature status in the National Watercolor Society, Southern Watercolor Society, and Florida Watercolor Society as well as her mastership in the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society.
Donna was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida and attended Furman University in Greenville, SC earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an interest in advertising design. Donna transitioned from a successful career in graphic design to pursue fine art exclusively in 2001.
Today, she teaches classes and workshops across the country, has recorded instructional videos for the Florida Watercolor Society, and regularly exhibits in juried shows nationwide.
She has held board positions with the Florida Watercolor Society, Tampa Regional Artists, Herrig Center for the Arts (formerly the Art Center Manatee) and Las Damas de Arte.
Her work is included in public, corporate, and private collections and can be viewed at her Tampa gallery space with Smith Brothers Framing.
